Privacy
snowglobe.travel is run by Groove Logic Ltd (company number 11579869), trading as snowglobe, an independent travel agent booking through InteleTravel (ABTA P7384). Groove Logic Ltd is the data controller for this site. For anything about your information, email hello@snowglobe.travel.
What we collect, and why
- Your conversation with our ski agent and the trip details you give it (who's going, children's ages, dates, airports, budget), so it can find you a holiday. The agent runs on Claude, made by Anthropic, which processes the conversation for us and doesn't use it to train its models.
- Your email address, if you ask us to email you a link back to your trip. We only send you deals and snow news if you tick the box to say you'd like them, and you can stop them at any time.
- Booking details (names, dates of birth, contact details, address and any requests), when you ask us to book. We pass these to InteleTravel, who take your payment, and to the tour operator who provides your holiday, because they need them to book it.
- How the site is used, through PostHog analytics running without cookies, so we can see which parts of the site help and which don't. It doesn't identify you.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep your conversation and trip while you plan, and one to remember your answer about ad cookies. Both are needed for the site to work.
If you say yes to ad cookies, we also load Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tags, and tell Google, Microsoft and Meta when someone who came from one of their ads goes on to plan, save or book a trip. That shows us which ads are worth paying for, and lets us show our ads to people who've visited. If you say no, none of this happens. To change your answer, clear this site's cookies and we'll ask again.
How long we keep it
We keep conversations and saved trips for up to two years, and booking records for as long as the law and our agreements with InteleTravel and the tour operators require.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@snowglobe.travel. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
