Description

Chalet L'Ancolie is a superb character property in the Savoyard style, set in a quiet location back and just above the main street. Guests can relax in front of the fireplace after a day on the slopes and the comfy seating provides a haven in which to unwind. There's also a sauna on the ground floor as well as a heated ski and boot room.

Set over three floors, the chalet has five bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and a balcony or terrace, with amazing views across the Meribel Valley.

Access to the slopes is really easy, the bus stop for the free ski bus is just one minute's walk away (50m) and the bus runs throughout the day with extra services at peak times. A walk to the resort centre takes approximately ten minutes if you fancy a stroll before or after dinner.

For your added convenience, our ski hire partners provide a transfer to and from the shop for the fitting and collection of skis, boots and boards.

Location Description:

There's a free public ski bus service that stops just 50 metres from the chalet making it easy to reach the slopes. The buses run throughout the day with additional services as the lifts open and when they close. The ski school meeting place is at the Chaudanne when the bus goes to.

A walk to the resort centre will take approximately ten minutes.

Ski Resort Description

Meribel

The beautiful wooden chalet buildings of Méribel make this one of one of France's most attractive ski resorts and one of the most popular. It's set in the very heart of the Three Valleys, Europe's largest linked ski area with endless skiing opportunities with easy access to the resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens in the neighbouring valleys. There is of course some amazing skiing in the valley itself including the Women's Downhill run and up at the Mont du Vallon. Méribel centre is one of the area's liveliest resorts with a great selection of bars and restaurants. We also have an all inclusive hotel in the satellite village of Mottaret which is just above Méribel and located on the piste. This really is an excellent all round resort that offers something for everyone!
