Description

Piccolo Hotel Claudia is small and individual family-run hotel in the very centre of San Vigilio, our preferred village in Plan de Corones. It's been run by Elisabeth, Carlo and Roberto for 20 years now, who pay very close attention to their guests' stay and experience.

The rooms are spacious and bright, decorated following the canons of the mountain style, with parquet made of local fir wood and curtains from local artisans of the area. All rooms have sofas, flat-screen televisions, fridge and telephone. The balconies face different directions from room to room, each showing another corner of the village: some look out on the church and the square, where you can see the majesty of our beautiful peaks; some to the valley that leads to Pederü; others face Mount Corn, where you can enjoy the sun in the noon while listening to the quiet of the forest.

The hotel's bar & restaurant is of a high standard, with a mouth-watering menu based almost entirely around local ingredients.

Plan de Corones, known as Kronplatz is part of the famous South Tyrol and the Dolomiti Superski area and is known for its modern lifts, guaranteed snow and breathtaking 360º views of the Dolomite Mountains. The pistes are well groomed and never overcrowded, making the resort ideal for all levels of skiers and particularly families and beginners. San Vigilio, where our hotels are located, is to the south of Plan de Corones and is a pretty Ladin village that blends modern chic with old customs and traditions. There are plenty of activities available such as sledging, snowshoeing and sleigh rides and after a day on the slopes you’ll enjoy the selection of cosy bars and restaurants.
